The Quest for Soup

According to Harris Teeter's customer service people, split pea soup should have been back on the shelves on September 26th. So, every day since then -- sometimes more than once a day -- I've gone into the deli section of the HT right near where I ply my trade as postman slash printer's devil. And every day they do not have it. Yes, I've asked the people who work there where's my soup. They don't know. So today I drove out to the Harris Teeter on James Island, a distance --according to Mapquest -- of 17.81 miles -- and FINALLY was able to procure some of my much-missed split pea soup.
All I can tell you is that if I'd had to, I would have driven even further. This stuff is delicious and now I can't wait until lunch tomorrow.
